5 Minute Snack, Easy Salad!

Looking for a quick afternoon snack or something to hold you over when you get home from work until dinner time? Well stay away from the junk food and try this quick easy salad.

Start of with a bowl of spinach. (Spinach is not only a good source of iron and calcium but it also is a rich source of vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin K, magnesium, and several vital antioxidants.)


Then add some almonds or walnuts, which ever you prefer. (Almonds are good for an improved complexion, easier flowing bowel movements, and the prevention of cancer. Walnuts are also an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, and have been shown as helpful in lowering cholesterol.) You could go with both if you prefer! Also, through in some natural granola to give you some more calories (for energy) and plenty of fiber!

Lastly add some tomatoes, (Tomatoes contain lycopene, which is one of the most powerful antioxidants and has been linked to prostate cancer prevention)

Then just add a small amount of your favorite FAT FREE dressing and enjoy. Should take you less then 5 minutes to throw this snack together. So stay away from the junk food and give your body what it needs to operate at its best.
