Well I completed the Plyometrics routine in the P90X program for the second time now and it was a little easier then the first time but not much. I was jumping and lunging all over my garage and I was feeling exhausted. The exercise I had the hardest part with was the rock star jumps, I can’t seem to get into a good rhythm with those. This routine is becoming my favorite because it is so challenging and I can see the results from it in my shirt and shorts which are both soaked in sweat when I am done. Anyone who thinks plyometrics isn’t hard and not challenging then I challenge them to give this routine a shot, as far as cardio workouts go this is as good as it gets.
My main goal wasn’t trying to lose weight when I started the P90X but I was trying to get leaner and in just two weeks I feel like I am starting to hit my goal. I feel like my abs are showing a little bit more and my endurance is getting better. I love the mix of cardio workouts between the strength training, it is very challenging and Tony Horton is really encouraging. I have a long way to go before I am done with my 90 days, but so far I am liking the P90X program.
Below I have a picture of me after I am done with the plyometrics routine. My face is all red and I am drenched in sweat.
