It appears that an Arizona Scientist discovered that over 40 percent of packaged meat from Arizona chain stores have tested positive for Clostridium difficile, a gut bug known as C. diff. This raises the speculation that bacterial infections may be transmitted through foods. It also begs the question that if over 40 percent of stores in Arizona have tested positive for this gut bug, then how many stores would test positive in your neighborhood?
