
My third time around doing Yoga X in the P90X program and it was a lot less frustrating this time around compared to the last two weeks. I struggled to balance the first couple times around and that really aggravated me. This time my balance was much better and I didn’t stumble much at all. My flexibility is also getting way better. I didn’t have a lot of flexibility before I started the P90X because I primarily lifted weights and didn’t stretch all that much. Now my hamstrings are more flexible and I can bend and hold in more of the poses in the Yoga X routine then I could before. One of the greatest things about working out is when you start to see results, since my two main goals were to get leaner and become more flexible I am very happy that I am starting to see both already only 3 weeks into the program.
Yoga X also helped me with my injured neck/back. If you read my post from yesterday when I did the shoulders and arms routine I told you that I felt something pop in my upper back and it was really difficult to turn my neck to the right. Well it feels much better after doing Yoga X. My back cracked a few times and I was really able to stretch out. It still doesn’t feel 100% but it is much better then it was yesterday, at this rate I should be all healed up by the end of the weekend.
